ein weiterer Schritt... / another step...

Heute habe ich den Kostenvoranschlag für die Ausbildung und Anschafffung eines geeigneten Hundes erhalten. Die Gesamtkosten betragen 24.900,00 Euro.

Puuh, ganz schön viel Geld!

Allerdings lässt sich der Aufstellung auch entnehmen, wie sich diese Summe zusammensetzt und mehr als die Hälfte des Geldes ist für die spezielle, professionelle Ausbildung veranschlagt. Und natürlich muss man bedenken, dass der Hund für die ersten 12 -18 Monate bei seiner Trainerin leben wird und dann 'fix und fertig' bei uns einziehen kann. Er hat dann einen Assistenzhundeausweis, kann die Aufgaben sicher ausführen und ist geimpft, gechipt und kennt auch bereits durch regelmäßig stattfindende Treffen sein neues Zuhause.

Mit dem Kostenvoranschlag kann ich mich jetzt an den Hilfe-fonds wenden und zumindest ein Teil der Kosten kann dadurch (hoffentlich) übernommen werden (max. 10.000,00 Euro). So würde vor allem die Anzahlung von 7.000,00 Euro, die bei Auftragserteilung fällig ist, erst einmal abgedeckt sein.
Sobald es die Kostenzusage dafür gibt, kann die Trainerin anfangen, nach einem geeigneten Welpen zu suchen.

Demnächst sollte dann auch das Crowdfunding für den Restbetrag starten, sodass ich dann den Link dafür auch hier veröffentlichen kann.

And of course you have to keep in mind that the dog will live with its trainer for the first 12 -18 months and then move in 'all right'. With the cost estimate, I can now turn to the help fund and at least part of the costs can be (hopefully) taken over (maximum € 10,000.00). First and foremost, the down payment of € 7,000.00, which is due when the order is placed, would first be covered.

As soon as the cost credits are given, the trainer can start looking for a suitable puppy.
